My CaReLeSs WhIsPeR-Think UNIT TRUST, Think Agnes

ONE of the things my female colleagues like discussing about is perfumes and more perfumes. To be frank, I have close to zero knowledge on perfume hehe. Well, the ones I knew of was Body Shop-Oceanus. I have been using my Body Shop perfume for about 2 years adi and it can’t seem to finish. Haha.

Anyway, it all started after my colleague told me to check out ‘Green Apple’ from DKNY. She told me about it few months ago but I din care to drop by the counter haha. The other day, my supervisor and the clerk in my section were also talking about Anna Sui’s latest perfumes. Goodness, why is everybody around me keep talking about perfumes and sometimes Nike, nike and nike??

This latest interest of mine begun since I started using Lancome-Hypnose.
You know…the one with the super nice spiral bottle, 8tv advertised it very often some time ago. My supervisor has too many perfumes adi I suppose, she gave me a coupon, so that’s how I got a sample of Hypnose. Hypnose is nice, maybe I got a lil sick with my Body Shop one, hence I find this new one nicer haha.

Of all my trips to Parkson, I never fail to drop by the counters trying out these perfumes. I dropped by Anna Sui’s counter, limited edition’s Dolly Girl range were ok. But the one that I fell in luv with, is ‘Secret Wish’ and the scent was heavenly !! It’s sooo sweet :) You gals should go test it out man. Then tell me if you too think it’s nice.

Our brain only allows us to process 3 kind of scents. How true that theory is, dun ask me. Anyway, in my opinion, a few that I have tested..

DKNY- Green and Red Apple were juz ok, din manage to impress me though. Err…not gonna be ranked high in my consideration list hehe.
DKNY- Summer (I think). Smells like mandarin orange. Like CNY. Haha.
Lancome - Hypnose. I found out that there are 2 types of Hypnose man. One a lil mild, the other stronger.
Ralph Lauren – Hot, Cool and (rough?) Gosh…take them away from me! The further the better...boleh pengsan..smells like (milk?) mix with some weird stuff I guess. Bluek.
Jennifer Lopez range – Again, take it away..as far as possible.
Britney Spears range – Soli, FOC also I dun wan. Coz it doesn’t smell nice.
Davidoff- Echo. *Puke*

These perfumes would make a hole in my savings (well, kinda) but it’s no surprise to me, coz this was the reason why I have never go near to these cosmetic counters before this. Even though I’m already working now, I still find it hard to get my money on those stuff. Sigh.

Now, “Secret Wish” has been occupying my mind, damn man. 30ml for RM150, 50ml for RM190, 100ml for (RM275?). 30ml is the most ideal size for me (coz I dunno when I would get sick of the perfume haha) but RM150 for a small bottle of perfume?? But if tomorrow is the end of the world, I would get my ass to mp now, right away hahahalol.

There goes my latest addiction passion if that’s a better word. Yeah it indeed is. Any gals out there who have better suggestions or recommendations, pls kindly let me know. I have lotsa time to do my survey haha. If you know me, you’d know I am like that. Oh yeah, Hugo- Pure purple nice or not? Anybody tried that??? Pls let me know. There ain’t Hugo counter in Malacca, but I wonder if they sell Pure Purple. Btw, luckily I’m not a heavy user, if not mati la hahaha. One of my colleagues uses perfume even when she goes to mamak. Omg..

Do you know that not only yawning is contagious, but crying too? Well, maybe it’s only applicable to gals, some if not all, since gals are a lil more emo than boys, but have any kind of research been done before to prove the validity of that saying? I wonder.

Anyway, let me share my experience with you. 3 Fridays ago, there was a farewell buffet dinner organized by my department for 2 resigned colleagues who were from my dept of coz. It was at City Bayview and the dinner was fully sponsored by my manager. Both of them were required to give a lil speech. The first colleague who started first, did that fanning-the-eye thing in the mid of her speech. Then she turned to the back to wipe her tears but she couldn’t continue with she had to say, she actually paused for like quite a long before she can resume her speech. I guess it was a struggle for her to finish it up. It was a sad sad sight for all of us.

In my table there were….let me see…7 gals. I then turned around and saw 4 of them with red eyes and nose, including my supervisor haha. And of coz….with tissues! The 5th gal was controlling I know, the 6th gal is a new staff (a new clerk in my section) and the 7th gal is me la. My supervisor actually cried more than anyone of us since she is really close with the gal. Mana tau..i got infected by the crying virus in the end. Defense system malfunctioned. Damn man. How come I also so emo? I wasn’t like that. My manager was sitting in another table though. I looked at her to see if she got terkena virus or not. No. Not at all.

WOW! I gotta salute her. What a tough and calm lady she appeared to be. A manager is able to tell already who in the department is soft hearted and emo, and who is the opposite. I told my supervisor “Looks like 2 of us, the training team, dua dua also tak boleh pakai” Hahaha. Actually I wish to be the latter but I couldn’t yet. But I will learn to be still if such situation occurs again. Sigh…gals are gals. Hey but I noticed smth…even the guy in my dept also has got red nose hahaha. Btw, din take much pics coz red eyes and nose wouldn’t make you look good in pics hehe. One important finding since that day, my manager is one real tough, steady, unemotional and possesses good controlling skill kinda lady.

After that, 2 weekends ago, on a bright Sunday morning, I was in the Melaka Zoo with my family. Not gonna blog about the zoo trip though but the point of me bringing this up is to let you know the kind of ‘benefit’ Cubic has. I go t the Cubic Zoo pass and the pass holder may bring 9 other person along to the zoo, all for free. My bro has wanted to go to the zoo and finally one of his wishes came true haha. There in the zoo, I registered with so that I will be a eligible voter for the national election. Fyi, they have a booth in the zoo every weekend. So those who are lazy to go to their main office to register, you can opt to go to the zoo. Hehe…

It has been one year and a week since I had my convocation in Dewan Seri Negeri. *Recalling*…*recalling*…it was such a memorable day.

Anyway, I was in Cyberjaya campus last Sunday for the MMU Convocation of my friends. Was supposed to meet chui ying on Sat but the plan din really work out, so I went up on Sunday morning with fren yenmao. We left Malacca at about 10am. Thumb up for this guy man, if weren’t for his convo car sticker, we might have to park our car outside the campus like Allen and Wei Chong and it was indeed, really far. Haha I do know coz ym drove them to their car after the convo.

We waited for about 1.5 hours before the graduates came out from the hall. Mahasiswi were pretty, mahasiswa are ok, yeah juz ok hahaha. Oh btw, one of chui ying’s frens is not that bad though. When he left, she asked me “good looking right?” Ermmm…..yeah, well I cant lie. He is.

Not important. Anyway, the very first fren I wanted to meet was a fren I waited for more than 30mins before I can congratulate him and pass him his present. Biasalah, phone lines were busy, no calls can be made. We should have decided on a place to meet before the session ended but we didn’t. In fact I din do that with any frens I have wanted to meet the other day. Coz I knew the phone lines will be able to get thru after a while and they did. Before that at one point, Ashwin called me up, hebat sial. How come your phone can call out ar? Is it becoz its 013 and fewer ppl has it?

It’s nice to see my frens tossing their mortarboards coz I din have the chance to do so back then. I couldn’t be doing that alone as my most of my coursemates had left the place damn early. Sigh :(

This is the only group photo I’m in. This one also I almost missed man, (3 cams I think, and I missed the 1st cam haha) phew...luckily I came back ‘on time’ for it.

In short, actually I was lepaking around FOE building with my fren coz he wanted to take pics around his faculty building. From FOE to MPH is not near man I realized. Then also gotta go down to the dvd-selling area after that got back up. Then ran back down again after a few mins. *tercungap-cungap* My frens are all scattered around campus, that’s why. But luckily along the way, coincidently I did bump into the few frens in my list (yes I had a list in my head) whom I wanted to take photos with. Good thing. When I came back, I found out that Siewlin had already gone home and worse I haven’t taken a pic with her yet. Aiyo..why never wait for me~? Haha okla..i will make sure I take a pic with you when you take masters that time ok ;) So this was basically wat happened to this ‘penghilang’. Ish..macamlah convo gua haha.

Right..the convo present. I brought them along but I din distribute them. It’s kinda small and fragile, dun hope to see them slipped from anybody’s hand, fell to the ground and broke. (And yeah, it’s not smth you can use exactly, it’s juz a lil smth for you to keep and remember about your graduation whenever you see it ) So I reckon it’ll be better to give it later ;p

Me, Allen, Ym and Wei Chong had our late lunch in Kafe Sirah. We stayed there till 5 smth. How I wish it was then 8pm so maybe I’d at least get a glimpse of the Putrajaya night view:( My fren offered to bring me there for photo taking and send me back to Malacca but the distance is not like Melaka Raya to Tmn Merdeka, it’s Dengkil and Malacca man. Even superman would get tired too. So no night putrajaya for this short trip but I’m not too sad afterall. Convo was the main reason for the trip anyway.

I would like to dedicate this song to all my friends, boys and gals, who are graduating and having convocation this weekend in MMU Cyberjaya. Sincere apology from me if I can't make it to the Sat session. Well, it's inconvenient for me as i dun have anywhere to stay overnight except at my friend's friend place. My concern is that i do not know his fren and i dun think the gal fren i'll be going with would like that idea too. I'm damn happy right now knowing that my fren offered to share the hotel room rent with me if there is no other alternatives for me but to stay in a hotel in order to go to the convo on Sunday. That's really sweet :) But you know me, I'm not the kind who would take a cent from others. I believe nothing comes free in life.
